The Teague Lions will face the Whitney Wildcats in Whitney Friday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. after a big 34-7 win against the McGregor Bulldogs last week.
The Dew Bulldogs Boys Cross Country team took the first district championship in the school’s history. The girls team finished third.
The Lady Lions showed what they could do when all things seem to be against them after defeating Buffalo in five sets at home on Oct. 9.
The Teague Lions will face the Groesbeck Goats in a second district bout Friday, Oct. 12 in Groesbeck at 7:30 p.m.
Coming off a hard fought win against Hempstead, the Teague Lions hoped to carry that momentum into the first district game of the season against Grandview Friday night.
