Lady Lions tromp the Lady Elks

Incredible shooting from the field and an impenetrable defense allowed Teague’s Varsity Lady Lions to celebrate a quick 52-point home-court victory against the Elkhart Lady Elks on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

In efforts to celebrate a quick win against the Lady Elks, the Lady Lions made sure not to do any playing around on offense as they tallied 23 points, thanks to junior Reagan Heggins having a game high of 8 points in the quarter. Not allowing any room for error on defense, the Lady Lions held Elkhart to 6 points in the quarter, 6-23.

Freshman Jolee Haley came into the second quarter on her game high, making 10 of the 13 points scored by the Lady Lions. Having relaxed a bit on offense, Teague made sure to remain tight defensively against the Lady Elk. Elkhart was only allowed 8 points in the quarter having the win effectively taken from them by the Lady Lions.
