COVID-19 spread in rural Texas has stalled, a claim generally backed up by local data, but according to the state health department is expected to resume during and after the holiday season.
“Lighting of the Parks” took place on Wednesday night, Dec. 1, at the 8th Avenue Park and the BTW Park in Teague. The parks will light up at dark every night throughout the month of December. Christmas in Teague is taking place this Saturday, Dec. 4, at the BRI Railroad Museum, beginning at 5:30 p.m. There will be pictures with Santa, a Polar Express Train, face-painting, and food trucks.
