Nursing home residents in Freestone county, and their visitors, will find that positive change has come with the arrival of vaccines and the loosening of state restrictions, allowing family members to enjoy more time together as spring starts to arrive.
This week’s Student of the Week is Bree Wells. Bree was nominated by Ms. Callahan for a very special act of courage and quick-thinking on one of her bus rides. Usually soft-spoken, Bree asked Ms. Callahan to turn the bus around because she thought he saw a man on the ground. When Ms. Callahan turned back, they discovered that an older gen-tleman had tripped and fallen with his walker, and was lying on the ground. They were able to flag down some help and get the gentleman back to his home. Ms. Callahan is proud that Bree spoke up that day and persisted until the gentleman was helped, and all of us here at TJH are, too! Contributed Photo
