Lady Lions take Westwood 33-16

Teague’s Varsity Lady Lions traveled to Westwood to illustrate superb field shooting all four-quarters of play, and strong transition to defense to secure a win against the Westwood Lady Panthers.

Starters Reagan Heggins, Ashlynn Forge, Mallory Steen, Mollie Sims, and Kori Pillete jump-started the competition against the Lady Panthers. Teague’s offense tallied 20 points in the first quarter.

Their strong defense, and quick moving allowed them to hold Westwood to 4 points, beginning the competition with a 16-points advantage, 20-4.

The Lady Lions kept steady in the field scoring an additional 13 points in the second quarter.

Slacking slightly on defense, the Lady Lions somehow allowed Westwood to score continuously in the field gaining 12 points.
