Teague golfers advance to Regionals

The Lady Lions golf team composed of Laynee Pickett, Alexis Dancer, Kennedee Stroade and Madison Bragg took second place as a team at the District 20-AAA golf tournament held at the Tri-County Golf Club last week to advance to Regionals. Luke Stacks placed fourth at the district meet to advance to Regionals for the boys as well. Regionals will be held at the Brenham Country Club. Stacks will compete on April 19-20, followed by the girls on April 21-22.

Nine Lady Lions advance to area track meet

Nine Lady Lions are advancing to the Area Track Meet at Crockett High School on April 14 after the district track meet last week. Advancing are Michelle Moreno, Mollie Sims, Jolee Haylee, TK Jones, Anna Boone, Ashlynn Forge, Tori Skinner, Al’ladrian Simpson, and Kaylee Cuevas.

Lady Lions knock-off Fairfield 5-2; Dominate Buffalo 21-2

The Lady Lions knockedoff Fairfield 5-2 and dominated Buffalo 21-2 this past week. The wins move Teague to 14-3 on the season and 5-2 in district play.
