Teague golfers advance to Regionals

The Lady Lions golf team composed of Laynee Pickett, Alexis Dancer, Kennedee Stroade and Madison Bragg took second place as a team at the District 20-AAA golf tournament held at the Tri-County Golf Club last week to advance to Regionals. Luke Stacks placed fourth at the district meet to advance to Regionals for the boys as well. Regionals will be held at the Brenham Country Club. Stacks will compete on April 19-20, followed by the girls on April 21-22.

The Lady Lions finished second overall behind Fairfield. Madison Bragg was the individual District Champion, shooting an 83, out of 30 girls. Kennedee Stroade shot a 104, Laynee Pickett 123, and Alexis Dancer 125 for Teague.
