Lady Lions knock-off Fairfield 5-2; Dominate Buffalo 21-2

The Lady Lions knockedoff Fairfield 5-2 and dominated Buffalo 21-2 this past week. The wins move Teague to 14-3 on the season and 5-2 in district play.

Last Tuesday, the Lady Lions hosted and knocked off the Fairfield Lady Eagles 5-2.

Senior Tori Skinner got the Lady Lions on the board in the bottom of the first inning when she hit a two run home run. Fairfield answered with a run in the top of the second inning to make it a 2-1 game.

In the fourth inning, Teague was able to get three more runs across home plate to help secure the home win. Carson Carroll and Mollie Sims led the way offensively for the Lady Lions with RBIs in the inning.

The Lady Eagles got another run across home plate in the top of the sixth inning to make it a 5-2 game, but the Lady Lions would hold on for the home victory.
