Funeral services for William “Bill” Clyde Thompson were held on Monday, Oct. 17, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Teague.
Waydell Reynolds
A funeral to celebrate the life of Waydell Reynolds was held at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Donie on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022. There was a visitation prior to the funeral at the church, beginning at 8:30 a.m. A graveside service at Oakes Cemetery followed the funeral.
Donald Casey
and skilled craftsman, journeyman and salesman. Whether working as an HVAC sheet metal journeyman, working with his brother in a trucking company, owning and managing a Peterbilt long-hauler trucking business, or later as an electrician, Donald was the ultimate of professionals.
Paul Ray Layton
ayton Paul Ray Layton, 84, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at his home in Waco, Texas. Visitation with the family was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Oak Crest Funeral Home in Waco. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Shanks Cemetery in Kirvin, near Teague ,at the intersection of FM 950 and FM 80. The Rev. Kip Osborne, pastor of Western Heights Baptist Church in Waco, where Paul and his wife, June, were long-time members, officiated.
