Manuell Otha Grayson

Manuell Otha Grayson was born on Dec. 20, 1926, to Carl and Lucille Grayson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Anel, daughter Deanne Lynn Grayson, his parents Carl and Lucille Grayson, Brothers Winston and C.W. Grayson. He is survived by his brother Buster Grayson, sisters Joyce Gunter, Nelba Armstrong and Linda Jones, sons Bryan Keith Grayson (wife-SandraJean) and Curtis Neal Grayson, grandchildren Alysha Nicole Grayson, Samantha Grayson, Harley Grayson, great granddaughter Whitney Grayson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Manuell enlisted in the Army in 1945 at Fort Lewis in Washington. He served with 13th Air Depot Group until 1947 where he received the World War II Victory Medal and Army of Occupational Medal and was given an Honorable Discharge.

Manuell drove for Red Arrow Freight Lines where he retired after 32 years. Manuell loved hunting and fishing.

He loved to play the guitar and sing for friends and family. He built World War II airplanes out of wood and any spare items he could use then would give them to children for their enjoyment.

Manuell was a Christian and attended Round Prairie Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Capps Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to noon. Service to follow at Capps, followed by Interment at St Elmo Cemetery at 581 FM 416, Streetman.
