The Teague homecoming football game against Eustace was scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 6:30 p.m. However, the game has been rescheduled for next Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. All other homecoming festivities will remain this weekend.
The time has come to kick off the annual Teague Christmas Angel program, which will be in its fifth year of operation in 2020.
Freestone County Clerk Linda Jarvis reports a “very large early voting turnout” so far, with approximately 3,000 registered voters, or 24.5 percent of the county total, casting their ballots as of Monday at 5 p.m.
The City of Teague recently released its new official city logo. In late 2019, members of the community entered drawings and artwork in the cities logo contest in hopes of becoming the official Teague logo. The Board of Aldermen approved Bryan Teer’s submission of the logo above. The city would like to thank all those who submitted their artwork, and would like to congratulate Bryan Teer on having his artwork selected.
