Voters in Teague and beyond will be casting their ballots this coming Tuesday, Nov. 3, taking part in the 2020 general elections on the local, state, and national levels.
Political contests of all levels will take place in the Tuesday general election, with the main state race with Freestone County focus being the contest for Texas’ 17th Congressional District.
Although there was no football game this past week, homecoming festivities were still held over the weekend. Senior Kendall Thompson was crowned the 2020 Teague High School Homecoming Queen on Friday morning at the Homecoming pep rally. Sophomore Denham Hunt was named Homecoming Duchess.
Junkin’ Jo’s Antiques and Boutiques held their ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday morning, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. Patti Jo Whittington owns the business which is located at 325 E Loop 255 in Teague.
