The frown had begun way back in the spring,
Over a hundred community members gathered at the Teague Volunteer Fire Department station on Saturday evening, Nov. 28, at 6:30 p.m. to honor and pay tribute to Melvin Mims.
A mobile home east of Teague on Hwy 84 caught fire on Friday evening, November 27. The Teague VFD was paged to the scene at 6:06pm for a fully involved structure fire. They received mutual aid from the Fairfield VFD and Dew VFD. No one lived at the residence when the fire began. Photo by Mitchell Pate
The Teague High School Ag issues team consisting of Kennedee Stroade, Allison Fortson, Maddie Tharp, Gabby Myers, and Andrew Tucker advanced to the state contest after taking 2nd place at the Area VIII leadership development contest at Waxahachie High School Saturday, Nov. 21.
