Lions finding their way home

The Teague homecoming football game against Eustace was scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 6:30 p.m. However, the game has been rescheduled for next Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. All other homecoming festivities will remain this weekend.

A homecoming pep rally will kickoff the weekend at Lion Stadium at 7:40 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23. The crowning of the homecoming queen and duchess will take place during the pep rally. The Homecoming court includes freshmen Reese Stacks and Anayeli Bailon, sophomores Delainey Long and Denham Hunt, juniors Ellie Drennan and Briann Fitzgerald, and seniors Kendall Thompson and Zikieria Jones.

The Teague Homecoming Golf Tournament will be held on Friday at the Tri-County Golf Club. Tee-time is at 10 a.m. Teague High School exes, their spouses or anyone who has been a part of THS is eligible to participate. All proceeds from the tournament go to scholarships for THS students. Cost is $80 for scramble only which includes cart and lunch. Scramble and hole sponsorship is $100 and includes sign, cart, and lunch.
