Lawmakers in the Texas Senate are considering a measure that would require home insurers to get approval from regulators before increasing rates more than 10%, the Houston Chronicle reported.

What is a vocation? Oxford Languages - “A person’s employment or main occupation, especially regarded as particularly worthy and requiring great dedication.” Comes from the Latin word “vocare” which means “to call”. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone could find their true vocation and not just a job? Events such as our College and Career Showcase may just be the catalyst for our students’ journey to identifying their calling.
