“Pat,” 86, of Richmond, VA, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, after a long illness. Pat was born on Feb. 22, 1938, in Houston, but grew up in Teague, (Freestone County).
Funeral services for Louise Collins were held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague.
Funeral services for Owen “Rusty” Beene, Jr. were held on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Rev. Richard Gillet will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Salem Cemetery near Freestone with Masonic Graveside Rites.
