Bobby Leroy Linderman Sr.

Bobby Lindeman Sr. passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at his daughter’s residence on Teague Club Lake. There are no services planned. Bobby Leroy Lindeman was born Dec. 15, 1936, in Waco. He married Bertie Lindeman on Sept. 18, 1954, and they shared more than 64 years of marriage together. Bobby worked as a fishing guide on Toledo Bend Lake and then went into trucking for more than 30 years before he retired. They moved to Teague Club Lake in 2000. Bobby enjoyed fishing, football and drag racing; they enjoyed traveling and took several trips to the mountains. They also enjoyed collecting and mining for gemstones. Mr. Lindeman loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He is survived by three children, Becky Lyn Easdon, Bobby Lindeman Jr. and Billy G. Lindeman; nine grandchildren, Jason W. Easdon, Michael B. Easdon and wife Lysa, Billy Lindeman Jr., Leslie W. Lindeman, Elizabeth and Brandon Roberts, Bradley Lindeman, Brian L. Lindeman, Chris Cagle and Jen Cagle; 13 great-grandchildren, Landon Ryan Easdon, Christopher Vermillion, Vanesa, Adkins, Brodie Cagle, Tanner Cagle, Dylan Lindeman, Kelsey Lindeman, Michael Lindeman, Harley Love Lindeman, Hannah Lindeman, Kate Lyn Lindeman, Zaraiah Williams, Zannah Williams, and Zalyn Williams; numerous other relatives and friends; including life-long friends, Dale and Billy Long, Jonathan Bibles, Jean Chancelor, Betty McGee, and Judi and F. D. Hocutt. Mr. Lindeman was preceded in death by his wife, Bertie Lindeman; one son, Bennie D. Lindeman; one granddaughter, Cassie Price; and daughter-in-law Julie Lindeman. Betty J. Alewine

Betty J. Alewine was born in Galveston on Sept. 23, 1932, to George Raymond and Ruth Elaine (Burney) Mulcahy. Betty Jo graduated from Teague High School on May 29, 1951. She was married to Tillman West Conovan, from 1953 to 1970, and together they had three children, Sharon Jeane Gregory, Jefferson Raymond Conovan and Kimberly Ruth Conovan. She became Betty J. Alewine in May 1984, when she married Bennie L. Alewine. Betty J. Alewine passed away peacefully on Aug. 27, 2022, at the home of her daughter, Sherri and husband, Mike Gregory, in Teague. Betty J. Alewine lived a strong spiritual life. She had magnificent work ethics and loved God, her family and friends. She had a sweet, loving and kind soul. She loved playing and beating you at canasta. She enjoyed trips to the casino, the Cowboys, Texas Rangers and the Mavericks and had a T-shirt for every game, depending on the team, that she wore as she sat and watched “her team” games on television. Betty Jo loved Homecoming, seeing all her classmates and riding the floats. After retirement in 1992, she pursued her love for antiques, owning Fairfield Antique Mall and then Parker Square Mall, both in Fairfield.
