Barbara Cobbs

Barbara Nell Cobbs passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, in Groesbeck.

There will be no services.

Barbara Nell Cobbs was born in Houston on May 2, 1956, to Robert & Merle Cobbs. She graduated from M. B. Smiley High School.

Barbara worked several jobs during her life including several years as a dietician at the Teague Nursing Home and a cashier at Walmart in Mexia.

C obbs She also enjoyed making crafts, especially jewelry.

Ms. Cobbs was a member of the River of Life Church in Fairfield.

She is survived by one son, T. J. Taylor and wife Corrie of San Angelo; one sister, Mary Catherine Cobbs of Baytown; two nephews and one niece, Dewayne Casteel and wife Amber, Hope Brewer and husband Ronnie, and Robert Casteel; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ms. Cobbs was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Merle Cobbs; and one sister, Charlene Figgins.
