Cade Corley

Weslyn “Cade” Corley, age 17, passed away on March 21, 2024

He was born on Feb. 27, 2007 in Waco, to his mother, Michelle Harris and father Christopher Corley. From an early age Cade showed interest in a multitude of sports from mutton busting to baseball.

Cade has always had a love for animals, often pet sitting and even rescuing wild animals and bringing them home to nurture them back to health. Cade loved rodeo’s and bull riding.

Cade loved to tinker and take things apart just to see how they worked. He loved his souped up lawnmower.

Cade was a prankster at heart and loved to make people laugh and smile. Cade loved fishing with his family and looked forward to each summer’s annual family “friendly” competition for the biggest fish.

Cade loved wrestling dearly and excelled in the sport from the start. He loved anything to do with fast cars, trucks and loud engines, as Cade would say “spin’em”, he loved to see the burnouts.

Cade would always motion his hand up and down to signal his friends to rev up the engine and burnout. Cade loved music, he always listened to C orley music and enjoyed watching live bands perform.

Cade had a huge heart and brought a smile to anyone he encountered. Cade brought the energy to a room with his outgoing and energetic personality.

Cade never met a stranger and would be the first one to befriend you. Cade stood up for what was right and was very passionate about what he believed in.

Cade was very polite and respectful, as well as an extremely hard worker and helped anyone and everyone he came across. Cade was very involved in the Ag department and enjoyed welding.

Cade loved God and strived to draw closer to Him. One undeniable trait Cade possessed was that he loved hard.

In the midst of this tragedy remember the way Cade loved; remember his heart; remember his kind nature and be a Cade.
