Freestone County Commissioners tentatively proposed the new tax rate for the upcoming fiscal year at their Friday, July 28, meeting at $0.3219 per $100 of property evaluation.

City of Teague seeking grant for splash pad

The City of Teague Board of Aldermen hosted two special called meetings this past week to look at purchasing a splash pad for the City of Teague Park on Eighth Avenue.
