Teague Rodeo coming at end of June

The trailer was built for the Freestone County Game Management Association so they can auction it off at their banquet later this year to raise funds for the organization.
Confirmed and reported COVID-19 cases in Freestone, Limestone and surrounding counties juddered to a slow crawl this spring on state and local dashboards that keep up with the numbers, a fact complicated by the rise in home-testing which has led to a nationwide drop in reporting.
Next week’s Freestone County Fair broiler show will see the return of Teague FFA members and brothers Austin and Cole Mims for their fifth year of competition, with both hoping to bring home a championship from the Thursday morning event.
Bettye Trask, well-known in Freestone County because of her involvement in helping people of all ages in so many ways, resides in her hometown of Fairfield. She is the wife of the Rev. Spain E. Trask who is the pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Teague. Bettye also is an ordained minister.
