Freestone County will continue to use solid waste services from Republic Services, based not only on their lower prices but also on their service.
For the first time in three years, the Texas Education Agency released public school accountability ratings, and all Freestone County school districts received a B, with the exception of Teague, which earned an A overall rating.
The trust formed by 1957 Teague High School graduate Anthony “Tony” Bobrow continues to follow his instructions to “Make life better in Teague.” Bobrow died in 2018 at 78, leaving his entire estate to the trust.
