The Freestone County Sheriff’s Office acquired a few safety items for its patrol deputies thanks to Texas Association of Counties. “TAC works very closely with Freestone County and we very much appreciate the relationship we have with them and their assistance throughout each year,” Freestone County Sheriff Jeremy Shipley posted on the FCSO Facebook page.
All Teague ISD school board members were present at the Tuesday, Aug. 23, school board meeting where they adopted a lower tax rate for 2022-2023. Although the tax rate will be dropping for residents, the property values have increased which in return will bring in more revenue from taxes.
