After more than 12 years of service as a city of Teague alderman, Chris Nickleberry announced his resignation from the board at the conclusion of the monthly meeting on Monday night, July 18. All board members were present as Nickleberry attended online again.
Teague resident Dusty Newsom is a busy man. He works for the railroad. He has his own landscaping business. He’s a volunteer fireman with the Teague Fire Department.

Twenty-eight young girls competed in the 2022 Little Miss Peach pageant on Saturday morning, July 16, at the Freestone County Courthouse during the annual Fuzzy Peach Festival. When all was said and done, Kailey Merenda and Averly Jade League walked away with the crowns this year.
