Going Ballistic donates rifle-resistant shield to FCSO
Local non-profit GoingBallistic. org awarded its first rifle- resistant ballistic shield to Freestone County Sheriff’s Department, Sheriff Jeremy Shipley, on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the Freestone County Courthouse. The event marks the first major milestone for the new non profit, as it strives to put rifle-resistant ballistic shields into the hands of smaller law enforcement departments throughout Texas, starting with its more than 190 rural communities.
