Margaret A. Drinkard, 96, of Fairfield, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, Jan. 16. at the home of her daughter in Waxahachie. Friends and family may visit with the family and celebrate the life of Margaret on Friday Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon and attend the memorial service at 2 p.m. at Capps Memorial Chapel with Bro. Brandon Navarre officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery.
Funeral services for Myra Walthall Inderman, 68, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. David McAdams officiated. Interment followed the services at Woodland Cemetery near Kirvin.
On Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, Charles Sims Burks stepped into paradise and met his savior Jesus Christ. A memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rthe ev. Terry Skinner officiating. Sarah Ann Poteet, 79, of Gainesville, away Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, in McKinney. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, at Antioch Baptist Cemetery near Fairfield with Brother Carl Clark, pastor of Corinth Baptist Church of Dew, officiating.
