Myra passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, at her residence in Teague.

Myra was born and raised in Fairfield, the daughter of Earl and Myrtle Walthall, and sister to Tim and Terry Walthall. Myra met her future husband, Stanley Inderman, when she was just 14 years old. They were together for 53 years and married for 47 before Stanley preceded her in death Jan. 5, 2021, exactly one year to the day before Myra joined him in Heaven. They lived in Teague after marrying and raised their children Dustin and Lana there.

Myra was known locally as a consummate professional, owning the newspaper in Teague with Stan prior to working for Contel/GTE in the 1980s, and then eventually continued with a 25-plus-year real estate career based in Fairfield. Myra was regularly voted by readers of the Fairfield Recorder as “Best Real Estate Agent,” “Best Real Estate Office,” and “Best Dressed Female Professional,” among other awards. She loved real estate and helping people with their most important life purchases. Family was extremely important to Myra as well. She was extremely proud of her recent promotion to Grandma and spent as much time as possible with her grandchildren. She never missed family reunions and could always be counted on to be in attendance at weddings, graduations, ceremonies, and promoting the accomplishments of her family and friends, especially her children. Myra was always the most enthusiastic fan in the crowd and provided tireless support. She strived to put her love and kindness first and was a model of consistency who didn’t compromise her morals and gave to others constantly. She is survived by one
