Freestone County Commissioners Court approved moving the office of Justice of the Peace 4 to Teague to share the space with the office of Justice of the Peace 2, despite objections from both Justices of the Peace 2 and 4.

Freestone County bridge closed for two weeks for replacement

Freestone County Commissioners made plans to quickly replace the bridge on County Road 510 after someone reported that one of the guard rails had fallen down. The Commissioner Court made that decision at their specially called meeting of Friday, Oct. 28, when they also agreed to take no action on the burn ban; and confirmed the county’s discretionary exemptions.
