We are still enjoying cooler temperatures in the morning. Getting closer to fall weather every day. Of course we are still in Texas, I remember playing outside in shorts as a child at Christmas. Ha!

For the first time since 2014, Teague High School is hosting the Teague Marching Band Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 9. Bands will begin performing at 9:30 a.m.
The Teague Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a BBQ fundraiser next Saturday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Teague Fire Station, located at 400 Cedar St. in Teague.
September rainfall came in near a record low with only 0.48 inch. We had three days with measurable rainfall with a oneday greatest total of 0.31 inch on Sept. 4. The previous record low for September was 0.7 inch in 2019. Our normal September rainfall is 2.89 inches.
