Teague ISD continues the meal program for their students

LEFT: Food pickup is available during normal school days of operation at both Teague Elementary and Teague High School. The elementary proves a popular stop for neighborhood students looking to grub out. The meal program is available for those ages 2-18, in support of students that have taken an unexpected hiatus from school. FCSO arrests man for drugs, warrant

The Freestone County Sheriff’s Office detained a subject following a traffic stop Wednesday night, March 25. Lieutenant Robert Willis and Deputy Mike Darby initiated a traffic stop on State Highway 84 in Teague for a traffic violation. Following a computer check, a passenger in the vehicle was found to have an active parole warrant. A personal search revealed he was in possession of methamphetamine and benzodiazepine pills. The man was arrested without incident and transported to the Freestone County Jail.
