Runoff early voting to begin Monday
Monday begins the Runoff Election process in Freestone County, with early voting set to begin in several races on the local and state levels.
Early voting will begin Monday, June 29, and will end July 10 for the July 14 election. Early voting will take place at the Civic Center (Green Barn) in Fairfield, located at the county fairgrounds, 839 East Commerce St.
The first round of early voting availability is from June 29 through July 2 (Monday-Thursday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no early voting on the July 4 holiday weekend.
July 6 begins the second period of early voting, with votes able to be cast from July 6 to July 10 (Monday-Friday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The 2020 Runoff Election features two county races on the Republican ballot.
