Teague comeback falls short in five-set loss to Mexia
In a volleyball match that had more peaks and valleys than the Swiss countryside, Teague fell to Mexia in five sets at Teague on Tuesday, Sept. 19.. The marathon match lasted more than two hours. Teague took an early lead in the fifth set, but the Ladycats came back to score a 15-13 victory. Mexia won the first two sets, 25-16 and 25-21. Teague battled back and scored a 25-17 win in the third set and a 25-16 triumph in the fourth set. Teague opened up a 7-4 lead in the fifth set. The Lady Lions broke away from a 2-2 tie by scoring five of the next six points to take a 7-3 lead.
