Teague traveled to Fairfield on Thursday night, Nov. 3, to take on their rival, the Fairfield Eagles, in the final district game of the season.

The Teague volleyball team swept two matches last week to improve its District 20-3A record to 5-6. The Lady Lions were in fifth place in district with three matches remaining as they headed into their match against Groesbeck on Tuesday, Oct. 18. Teague notched a threeset victory at Mexia on Friday, Oct. 14. They raced to a 25-9 win in the opening set. The Lady Lions took the second set, 25-19, and finished off the victory with a 25-22 win in round three.
