The Teague Lady Lions defeated Mexia and Groesbeck this past week in district play. The Lady Lions move to 16-12 overall and 3-1 in district play.
The Teague Lions (4-1) held off a rally from the Class 4A, Division-2 Bullard Panthers Friday night to secure their fourth win, 30-28. This completes Teague’s non-district schedule.
The Teague Lady Lions volleyball team won in straight sets at Mexia Tuesday evening, 25-15, 25-16, 25-12. With the win, Teague's district record improves to 2-1.
The Teague Lions responded after the Mexia Blackcats threw the first punch, scoring a 28-20 home win Friday night, Sept. 20.
