Game wardens lead youth hunter education course

Fifty youth attended the Hunter Education Course hosted by the Freestone County Game Management Association on Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Twisted Vines Event Center. Specialty Risk Insurance sponsored the lunch. Game wardens conducting the course included Freestone County’s Shawna Poole and John Thorne, Limestone County’s Thomas Rain and Dylan Wallace, Cherokee County’s Brian Bearden, and Navarro County’s Jimmy Woolley and Gerry Amundson.
