Jeff Gonzales and Brian Bowers took their oaths of office to serve for another term at the Teague ISD School Board at the regularly called monthly meeting Tuesday, May 24. All board members were present.
The Bible has many translations that help to make it understandable, and one of the versions that I like is the Amplified Bible. What is special about that translation is that it literally amplifies or “defines” the power-packed words of the Bible, and so I am going to bring you several verses from the first chapter of John’s gospel that are recorded in the Amplified Version of the Bible. Here is the way they are written.
More than 100 people gathered at 10 a.m. Monday, May 30, at Teague Veterans Remembrance Park for the Memorial Day celebration to remember and honor those who died while serving their country.
