Eighteen youngsters attended a winter baseball skills camp hosted by Teague High School graduates David Matthews, Drew Satterwhite, Zack Satterwhite, and Brady Welch on Saturday, January 2.
In a close game marked by a slew of fouls, the Lady Lions emerged victorious against the Waco-Connally Lady Cadets, playing hard up until the last buzzer.

The varsity Teague Lions basketball team began their district season last Friday with an 18-point win on their home court against the Westwood Panthers, utilizing superior rebound skill and what head coach Chris Hair called playing “great in transition on offense and defense.”
