Puzzles are not easy and neither is putting together a football team. After summer workouts and the first week of fall camp, finding the right places for the players on the team is the next step in the puzzle.
It all started 10 years ago for first year coach Melissa Padgett and it has since become a tradition every year.
Summer workouts continue for the Teague Lions. Coach Zach Linscomb and his staff are utilizing a threeweek on, one-week on regimen. Linscomb said he has been averaging 75 athletes at the workouts. The first scrimmage of the season is fast-approaching, when Hillsboro visits Lion Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 11.
Here’s hoping everyone has had a GREAT 4th OF JULY HOLIDAY and got the Summer off to a wonderful start! In addition to a full week of fishing, I got to spend a fun Saturday Afternoon of visiting and doing the traditional Hamburger and Hot Dog Cookout and celebrating Independence Day with my Kids and Grandkids!
