With a non-existent offense, and powerless defense, the Teague varsity Lions suffered their second district loss against the Franklin Lions on their own home court Tuesday, Jan. 12.
The Lions traveled to Elkhart Friday, Jan. 8 to battle the Elkhart Elks in what first looked to be a lazy demonstration of Teague Lion basketball, but ultimately proved to be a great nail-biter, fourth-quarter comeback win.
Battling the Crockett Lady Bulldogs for a second time, the Teague Lady Lions proved their superior offense ability, once again decisively defeating the Lady Bulldogs on Friday, Jan. 15.
The Lady Varsity Lions travelled to Elkhart after a loss on Tuesday against the Fairfield Lady Eagles to repolish their district record, and re-establish their dominance.
