Senior Center News

Our weather is still unpredictable; although our folks maintain a pleasant, very warm, and friendly attitude, whether we have rain, colder temperatures, or extremely hot temperatures. They are all committed to the Center and the wonderful people that make it what it is. Thank you to Sue Allison for delivering our meals both Monday and Wednesday of last week. When her schedule allows, she always asks me, before I ask her if I need a volunteer driver! All of our drivers have always stepped up to help me in someone’s absence or trade with me; so that the meals will be delivered. I have managed the Senior Center in Teague for almost six years in July. I have very thoughtful, dedicated volunteers/ drivers for Meals on Wheels and always lend a helping hand at our Senior Center.
