Tori Skinner, a senior at Teague High School, signed with Navarro College on Sunday as she plans to continue her softball career at the college level with the Lady Bulldogs.
The Lady Lions finished third place overall in District 20-3A this season behind Fairfield and Groesbeck. Teague fell to Caldwell in the Bi-District championship to end their season with a 20-7 overall record.
Senior Nemier Herod led the offense on Friday night at Lion Stadium as he picked up 352 yards and six touchdowns as Teague defeated the Eustace Bulldogs 60-20 for their first win of the season.
The Lady Lions traveled to Madisonville on Thursday evening to take on the Caldwell Lady Hornets in the Bi-District Championship at 6pm. Teague took the first set 25-22 before falling 25-10, 25-17, and 25-18. The Lady Lions finish their season with a 20-7 overall record.
