West rips Teague; Lions finish fourth in district

West’s offensive backs ran wild against Teague on Friday night as the Trojans rolled up almost 500 yards of total offense in a 49-20 victory at Lion Stadium.
The loss put Teague in fourth place in District 9-3A, Division I with a 3-3 record (4-6 overall). West clinched third place in district with the win. The Trojans were 4-2 in district and 4-6 overall.
Teague will play District 10-3A, Division I champion Troy at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Waco ISD Stadium.
