Teague improves to 8-1 in district play with win over Buffalo

Although the Lions came away with the win, the Buffalo Bisons made it difficult by keeping the score close through three quarters before Teague pulled away in the fourth.

The first half of the game was very close as both teams battled back in forth with Teague leading after the first quarter by a score of 12-11. Although the score was tight, the Lions began a full court press late in the opening quarter causing Buffalo to turn the ball over. The Lions capitalized on those turnovers by turning them into points.

When asked about how he thought his team played, Coach Chris Hair said, “ I thought it was inconsistent.
