TABC names seven Lady Lion seniors to Academic All-State

Texas Association of Basketball Coaches announced its academic all-state athletes and all seven of the Lady Lion seniors were named: Ashley Nickleberry, Zy Herod, KaDaja Nickleberry, Madison Steen, Caelyn Thompson, Cady Drake, and Kennedy Bennett.
Teague’s girl’s varsity basketball coach Chris Nickleberry said, “These young ladies have excelled each year of their high school career athletically and academically. They have left their mark on the Lady Lion basketball program.”
