One win led to another Lady Lions 2-0 in district
The Lady Lions showed their competitive edge 3-1 over Normangee on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at home. It was a non-conference game between district games to keep the Lady Lions geared up for Buffalo, which certainly paid off.
In the first set Teague was up 15-9 before Normangee called for a time out. Tori Skinner and Macy Guerrero gave Normangee difficulty as each accounted for five kills each. Defensively, Guerrero was a threat up front as she had 6-block solos in the four sets played. While both teams played well the Lady Lions were very efficient setting up for the win 25-15.
