Lions make late push in wild 48-47 comeback win

In a spectacular comeback, the Teague Lions secured the team’s first victory of the season Friday night, taking down the previously undefeated Hempstead Bobcats, 48-47.
Down 47-34 with 10 minutes to go, Lions running back Gelico Green punched in his third score of the night from three yards out, putting the squad within one score. The Lions got the ball back with less than six minutes to go, looking to make one last push.
