The Lions fell to West 33-10

It did not take long for West to show their dominance over the Lions in the last district game while playing in West last Friday night. The Trojans put up 7-points in the first 15 seconds of the game and a victory over Teague with a score of 33-10. However, the Lions were able to use this game as a means to find a way to fight back as they have all season.

West scored 26 points with relative ease in the first half.

In the last full possession of the ball the Lions quickly gave it away after Zack Satterwhite threw an intercepted pass to the Trojans for a 30-yard touchdown. Up to this point Teague was not firing with all cylinders until this moment. While the Trojans attempted for the extra point it was blocked and Neimer Herod picked up the ball and ran 77-yards to put the Lions on the scoreboard with 2 points. The half ended bringing the score to 26-2.
