Lions face QB Hoffman, Bison
In the team’s final non-conference affair in 2020, the Teague Lions will look to snap a three-game losing streak Friday night, and won’t have to travel far to do it.
Local foe Buffalo (3-0) welcomes the Lions (0-3), with action beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The Lions come into Friday looking to avoid their first 0-4 start since 2009, with the gameplan beginning on the defensive end for Coach Donnie Osborn’s squad.
“Facing a team that is 3-0 with a big, physical QB that does a good job of running and executing the offense,” Osborn said of the matchup against Buffalo.
“Our secondary has a big challenge on Friday and great preparation during the week is a must.”
The physical quarterback on the Bison is senior Brett Hoffman, who stands at 6’4” with a 210-lb frame.
