Lions drop a close one to the Bulldogs

The Teague Lions went toe-to-toe with the Crockett Bulldogs Tuesday, Feb. 12 at home and lost by a close fought score of 61-57.

The stands were full of Lion fans as Teague lost the tip off but kept the defense tight and the first two minutes remained scoreless until Crockett got the chance for two free throws but only sunk one.

Lion Mychal Shed answered quickly with two points and the score went back and fourth score for score until the last 1:58 of the game when the Bulldogs scored and kept the ball out of the hands of the Lions until the buzzer sounded.

Shed put up 13 points, two free throws, two total rebounds, seven assist, eight steals, one block, two deflections and three charges for the game.
