Lions dominate All-District 9-3A; Coleman, Williams, T. Heard on top
The Teague Lions earned a spot in the state quarterfinals, following a District 9-3A championship. And, they earned the respect of their district coaches along the way.
The Lions dominated the All-District 9-3A Team, with Tayvis Coleman leading the way just as he led the Lions throughout the season. The senior running back was named District Most Valuable Player. Senior Marcus Williams was named Offensive Lineman of the Year. Both were unanimous selections.
Senior Tyrese Heard earned Returner of the Year.
