Lions defeat Crockett 7-0, Fall to Elkhart 7-0

The Lions defeated the Crockett Bulldogs 7-0 and fell to the Elkhart Elks 7-0 this past week. Teague has an overall record of 1-11-3 and a district record of 1-2.

The Lions hosted Fairfield on Tuesday night. Teague will travel to Buffalo to take on the Bison on Friday at 7 p.m. before making a trip to Westwood next Tuesday to play the Panthers at 7 p.m.

Last season, the Lions were 7-5 before COVID-19 hit. They lost four seniors last year - Jackson Black, Conner Smith, Drew Satterwhite, and David Matthews. Five starters returned for Teague this season.

“Our goal is to compete for a district championship and find a way into the playoffs,” Coach Jeff Callahan said.
